
Gordon Lamphere is a licensed Illinois and Wisconsin Real Estate Broker and serves as Vice President at Van Vlissingen and Co., the Midwest’s oldest private commercial real estate firm. In this role, Gordon is directly responsible for advising owners, tenants, and investors across more than 100 commercial real estate transactions annually throughout Greater Chicagoland. His work spans office, industrial, and land assets, with particular expertise in complex leasing assignments, value-driven repositioning strategies, and development-oriented advisory services.
In addition to his transactional responsibilities, Gordon leads Van Vlissingen and Co.’s media and marketing platform, where he bridges real-world deal experience with market-level insight. He is the host of Chicago’s leading commercial real estate podcast, The Real Finds Podcast, where he regularly interviews developers, corporate occupiers, economists, policy leaders, and industry operators shaping the future of the built environment. Through these conversations, Gordon has developed a reputation for translating macroeconomic trends, capital markets dynamics, and operational realities into practical intelligence for investors and decision-makers.
He is an honors graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland and earned his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School. His legal training enhances his ability to navigate complex transactions, negotiate effectively, and evaluate risk across leases, acquisitions, and development projects.
